To start your career as an Insurance Broker in British Columbia, you must get the General Insurance Level 1 license by passing the Fundamentals of Insurance Exam (Conducted by IBABC). At Lead Community College, we help you understand the course material and prepare you for the exam in 2-3 weeks. We make sure that you get all the guidance you need to pass the exam with great scores.

This in-person course prepares you for entry into BC’s general insurance sector. You’ll build a solid foundation in how policies are structured, what risks are covered, how deductibles and limits work, and how to serve clients responsibly. Expect real-world scenarios, form walkthroughs, calculation practice, and timed quiz drills so you’re ready for the licensing exam route and your first role in an agency.
